What is this printer used for? The Makerbot Method X easily supports high-temperature and high-strength nylon and dissolvable supports. It can also anneal nylon prints to dry and strengthen them in a heated enclosure supporting up to 110 degrees Celsius.
Materials: ABS, Nylon Carbon Fiber or Nylon Carbon Fiber 12 (higher strength, but less temperature resistance)
How do I go about printing something on the Method X?
The Method X is part of our Professional Printer Queue. This means your print will have to be approved before it’s added to the queue, due to the nature of the printing material. To submit a print for approval come into the space and a mentor will be happy to help you.
